Meetch uses no advertising, audience measurement or tracking cookies on meetch.io. Browsing the website only relies on the technical storage it needs to work.
This page lists the technologies used, what they are for, how long they are kept and how you can control them.
For any question relating to personal data, contact dpo@meetch.io.
Article 1: Scope
This page applies to the meetch.io website and describes the cookies and similar technologies used when you browse it. It complements the Privacy Policy, which explains more generally how PHENOMEN processes personal data.
Article 2: What are cookies and similar technologies?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. It allows the website to recognise your browser, keep a session open, remember your choices or, for some services, measure or track your browsing.
Similar technologies work in a comparable way: local storage and session storage of the browser, pixels, tags or scripts. On this page, the word “cookies” covers all of them.
Article 3: Categories of cookies
Strictly necessary cookies
They are essential for the website to work or to provide a service you expressly request, such as logging in, security or the display of interface elements. They do not require your consent.
Preference cookies
They remember optional choices such as language or display settings. Meetch does not currently use any.
Audience measurement cookies
They measure visits and the way the website is used. Meetch does not currently use any audience measurement tool.
Advertising and tracking cookies
They are used for advertising, campaign measurement or profiling across websites. Meetch does not currently use any advertising, social network or tracking technology.
Article 4: Technologies used on meetch.io
All visitors
Browsing the public pages of the website does not place any cookie on your device. Elementor, the tool used to build the website, only stores technical information in your browser to apply the display rules of interface elements such as the mobile menu or the demo request window. This information stays on your device and is never sent to Meetch.
- elementor (local storage), set by Elementor: counts page views, visits and how many times each window has been displayed. Kept until you clear your browser data.
- elementor (session storage), set by Elementor: same purpose, for the current visit only. Deleted when you close the tab.
Typefaces served by Adobe Fonts
The website typefaces are served by Adobe Fonts, a service of Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited. To display them, your browser connects to Adobe servers, which receive technical information such as your IP address, your browser and the page visited. Adobe Fonts does not place cookies. More information is available in the Adobe Fonts privacy notice.
Logged-in users of the administration area
WordPress, the content management system of the website, places the following cookies only when an authorised member of the Meetch team logs in to the administration area. Visitors of the public pages never receive them.
- wordpress_test_cookie: checks that the browser accepts cookies on the login page. Session.
- wordpress_[hash] and wordpress_sec_[hash]: authenticate the user and secure access to the administration area. Session, or up to 14 days if “Remember Me” is ticked.
- wordpress_logged_in_[hash]: indicates that the user is logged in. Session, or up to 14 days if “Remember Me” is ticked.
- wp-settings-[UID] and wp-settings-time-[UID]: remember the display preferences of the administration area. 1 year.
Article 5: Consent
As the website only uses technologies that are strictly necessary for it to work, no consent banner is displayed.
If Meetch introduces an optional service in the future, such as audience measurement, an embedded video player or a chat, this page will be updated first. The related cookies will only be placed once you have made your choice, and you will be able to accept, refuse or change it at any time, as easily as you gave it. Withdrawing your consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Article 6: Retention periods
Session cookies and session storage are deleted when you close your browser or tab. Persistent cookies and local storage are kept for the period indicated above, unless you delete them earlier.
If a consent tool is introduced, your choices will be kept for a limited period, in line with the recommendations of the CNIL, before being requested again.
Article 7: Controlling cookies from your browser
You can view, block or delete cookies and stored data at any time from your browser settings. Clearing the data of the website also removes the Elementor storage. Blocking all cookies prevents logging in to the administration area and may affect how some features work.
Article 8: Personal data and your rights
Where information collected through cookies is personal data, it is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law. Depending on the processing, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent.
Requests can be sent to dpo@meetch.io. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL: www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes.
Article 9: Changes to this page
This page is updated whenever the website, its service providers, the legal requirements or the technologies used change. The applicable version is the one published online.
